hi i have a truck the same as your one it is broken down. i wanted to ask you if you know how to get hold of any work shop manuals to help me fix the problems thanks for your help.

Although originally supplied to an Austrian fire department, this is a standard German 1600 LPM 4X4 water tender with a 2400 liter tank and a six-man crew cab. The chassis design was first introduced in 1962 and this type of pumper was built until well into the 1980s, although most German fire services made the switch to forward-control units - starting in the mid 1970s.

It had an 11 tonne GVW and a 130 BHP six cylinder diesel engine. Standard equipment included one first aid hose reel, an extension ladder, four scaling ladders and three BA sets.

Large numbers of these were exported to Eastern Europe and South America after completing their service life in Germany. As they are very tough and durable vehicles, many put in twenty to thirty years of service before being exported. Indeed, a small number are still in service, especially with volunteer fire companies which are not very busy.
