These self-contained systems mounted on a standard double cab 4X4 pickup provide a useful "first strike" capability for outdoor fires, at a very reasonable cost - and are a good solution for volunteer fire companies with limited budgets.

They also serve to bring later-arriving volunteers to an incident, after the full sized pumper has rolled out.
