Fire Engines Photos

This appliance was acquired by Atmel as part of the purchase of the Siemens manufacturing facility. It was later donated to the Young Firefighter Association based at Tynemouth Station (Juliet).

Renaults were never a common sight among British fire services, but they are of course still very common in France and many former French colonies, although even French fire services have quite a lot of MAN, Mercedes and Scania trucks nowadays. Quite a few Renaults are also with fire services in Belgium and Poland, while - uniquely in South America - they are also very numerous in Chile, where they share their appliance rooms with mainly American trucks.
