The tank design - although not uncommon when it comes to roll-on water tank containers - is not all that great.

A high oval tank like this example is cheap to construct, but it does result in a very high center of gravity, which impairs the transporter's handling and cornering capabilities.

Fortunately the area around Agde is fairly flat, and the transporter is not 4X4, so it does not pose the kind of hilly off road driving challenges that some nearby fire stations have to contend with...
