Neat, a Tanker off to its second life; and still in the Fire Service.

Someone had 'eagle-eyes', out there on the roads.

What was the year of the Leyland engine and chassis - would it have gone on to another life, too; as a lorry ?

E886EPJ was originally a milk tanker. It was converted by staff of Bells and Two Tones to a water carrier fire appliance.
It was used for several years in the Film & TV Industry for free fire safety and special effects support.
It was sold on to a dealer from Yorkshire along with equipment he failed to pay for, this was 2008/09. The cab was very rusty.
It served Bells and two tones very well, is the rechassied vehicle still around?
