Brandweer Doetinchem (NL) Austin K2 Ladder

The truck, Austin K2, as shown in the pictures was the first laddertruck from the Doetinchem Fire Brigade in the Netherlands. The chassis might be built in 1943 (we are not sure about that) and it became al laddertruck when former vol. fireman mounted the ladder in 1948. The truck was in service from 1949 until 1976.

to date the truck the back axle has the date stamped on it just above the filler plug, thats if its the original one!
