Just wondered if Haywards Heath has also received one of these.

Danny,the WSF&RS operated 2 large Incident Control Units,one besed at Bognor Regis,the other being based at Haywards Heath.Bognor's,an-N reg has been turned into an Information Unit and is now located at Chichester having been replaced by this smaller Incident Command Unit.The other ICU which was exactly the same as Bognors but from 1986(P-Reg)is still on the run as the brigades major Incident Command Unit at Haywards Heath.

Sorry,for the above comment it should read P-reg is from 1997/8 in reference to Haywards Heath Incident Command Unit.There is no thoughts about changing,or replacing this at this time.

Modern electronics and internet capabilities have made smaller ICUs more practical, but big ones still roam this Earth, not least Karlsruhe's giant example built out from a double decker bus body!
