What a nice looking newly acquired Rescue Tender by the TFD.

Point of Observation, have you noticed that the Japanese equipment is painted red, does not need fancy bright-coloured decals, and looks like it has just rolled off the showroom floor. Sort of like our equipment use to look like in the 50's, 60's and before?
Possibly its the Japanese style of maintaining the image of red fire trucks. What I know is that only several special units e:g HAZMAT and Rescue Squads has decals and stripes on their appliances.

Neat idea, to remember the Wheel Chock; tying it to the Driver's Door-Handle like that .....
Japan must be pretty similar to Britain for Fire Coverage - densely populated island nation, narrow and cramped streets for equipment, congested motorways, lots of mass-transportation systems, heavy industry in tight spaces, even down to Right Hand Drive.
I always wonder about these Wheel Chocks on all japanese Trucks ? are they an extra security measure in case of earth quakes, sothe unit won´t "turn-out" untill the personell has entered the cab ? lol
Andreas, just a thought but on exercise in cold areas we used to chock wheels as the brakes could freeze, but these look like a safety measure. Pavel, how right you are, red, no silly stripes and stickers! Pat, as for them trying Carps etc, they are far too sensible a people to be bamboozled into that! Or are you just being provocative??
