2, 5-3 million euros? you could afford a few arff appliances or turntable ladders if you had that much money...or do you mean 2, 5-3 mln kuna?

Yeah, my mistake I mean 3 million kuna's. But still it is expensive for most of our fire brigades. For one Unimog U500 we can buy 3 trucks from MG Rijeka (local producer), expl. my brigade bought 2 years ago Iveco Daily Turbo, and this year Iveco Eurocargo. This two trucks costs us aprox. 2, 5 million kuna's together.

The Mogs will probably last two or three times longer than the Ivecos, and suffer less downtime. Look at how long some of the ones on this site have been in service!

In addition, they will leave Dailys at the side of the road (literally), if you need to get into some really rough territory to fight woodland or wildland fires!

PS: I don't work for Mercedes, but I did once sell Iveco trucks.
