Fire Engines Photos

Could this be E543 YEY? If so I've recently seen this for sale on Ebay. Disappointingly they've removed the front mounted pump and just about every other piece of fire fighting kit! Really annoyed as I'm in the market for one of these, if anyone knows of similar coming up for sale, please let me know.

Yes, Matt, it's E543YEY. I remember when the batch arrived back in 1988. Yes the current TM has a habit of either stripping or crushing appliances.

Thanks for confirming that Andrew. Is this the same TM that had the first ever Volvo appliance in the UK crushed?

Yes. D999TFY has turned up at Johnstown fire station awaiting a decision on wether to donate it to Volvo's museum.

Lets all pray common sense prevails Andrew! I understood there was some debate about whether this machine was still around. It deserves to be preserved. Out of interest what condition is it in?

Minus embelishments and in need of T-cut.
