I have the pleasure of work with this vehicle every days I am military firefighter from the PRT Air Force. This vehicles arrived to the air force in 2008 to substitute the olds oshkosh. These are fantastic vehicles, very fast, high quick response and large capacity of fire extinguisher. Its a MTEC 670 6x6 from protec fire, have a 700hp caterpillar C-18 ADEM Euro3 engine with 18000cc and 1576nm, a Godiva WSA 6010 (6000lts at 10bar of pump capacity) 10.000lts of water, 250kgs of dry chemical powder (DCP) and 1272 lts of ARFF foam. Have 2 monitors AKRON crash rescue whith 60mts of reach in the frontal monitor and 80mts in the superior, this monitor is equipped to with a FLIR (forward look infrared) camera with 2 modes: thermal image and night vision. Actually the Portuguese air force have 15 crashtenders like this, its the BRAVOs 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93.
