I do not know much about US machines, this Ford American pumper has been imported and refurbished by I believe Liecester Central firefighters and is usually stored in one of the bays in the rear yard.
This is a EX USAF Type P12 Pumper issued in 1970's it was used at RAF ALCONBURY CAMBRIDGESHIRE, wording on front bumpers not correct, Maltese Cross on the door nice touch but incorrect, why they didn't restore it to its USAF configeration.its a Ford Ward La France.
This is a U.S.A.F. P8 Structural & Bush Pump. This must of served at one of the USAF bases in the UK. It carries 600 US gallons of water 55 US gallons of Foam and a 500 US gallon per minute pump.

This is the first of these pumps I have seen as a 4x4, usually they were 4x2. There was a lovely example at RAF Sculthorpe in 1978. I agree with Peter about the restoration, only cosmetic but not historically accurate.
Chris Pity about the agreement, have in my collection(when I can locate it) the Truck taken "on the run" at RAF Alconbury, that may also explain why the 530B that has been preserved has the Maltese cross on its door.

It is a bit unusual. The Ford C series was an enormously popular fire truck chassis in its day, and was the basis for pumpers, aerials, tankers, rescues, hose wagons, foam units and just about everything else!
500 gal water tank, 1000 gpm pump, I believe the pump is Hale.
