Two euro-style foam branches on the roof. Looks like a 200 LPM model and a 400 LPM version.

The whitewalls used to be very common in the old USSR (to aid in identification?) and also once upon a time amongst French fire services.

This poor girl needs a makeover. What would you do to make it look better and more up to date?

I think she looks pretty good for a seventeen year old front line pumper. Ukraine is now buying more modern trucks, mainly I think Mercedes.

Ukraine fire services have also bought locally built appliances on Russian Kamaz chassis.

Although these are much more modern than this ZIL, which is a very old design, they have had quite a poor reputation. When I lived in Kuwait ten years ago many of the city's garbage trucks were Kamaz, and they had a lot of problems with them....
