Fire Engines Photos

Barrie Green, you deserve a medal! I may be wrong, but, I don't think there has ever been a posting of this particular model AEC on the site. Now, there was a New Zealand toy manufacturer that reproduced this very model in a minature scale, the name escapes me for the moment, but I'm hoping John Walker or Brian Edwards (NZFS) can help me out here, , , , ?!

Gotta agree - definitely a little beauty. And posed, with the Training Tower, and Aerial [TTL]
The Crew Cab sliding doors are a neat space-saving idea.

Really appreciated this one. Regards, from Canada, Pat_R-B

There is the old Matchbox 1-75 series AEC Appliance which is still turning up at Model Collectors Toy Fairs. And I also remember seeing a large size AEC (roughly 1/35th scale) somewhere once, so there are some models about.
It would be nice though, if Corgi brought this model into it's 999 Range sometime.
