Fire Engines Photos

Brilliant picture of a typical wartime period. Old barns all around, snow on the roofs giving that cold winter feeling of a very dismal period in the history of wartime Britain. Barns of course being the home(station) to many of these 1940's period appliances that served us so well in a very difficult time.

That is a recent photo,
Hardly think during the 40’s they had blue plastic 20ltf oil containers and fibreglass cladding on the back of the shed!!!
