There is a Deck Gun [Fire Monitor] atop the tank - possibly, the truck was used in Airport Crash-Rescue, as well ?

No, a lot of this kind vehicles have a Fire Monitor. This is regular Watercarrier with firefighting normal pressure pump made for wather delivery. Building year close to 1970
