Buckinghamshire ERF EC6
The current second-away appliance at Buckingham fire station is P984 VUD, an ERF EC6 with Emergency One bodywork. The three vehicles of this batch were among the first appliances supplied by ERF after their re-entry into the market in the mid-1990s. It is seen on display at its home station's open day in 2007 with the lockers open to reveal the extensive equipment carried by the brigade's rescue pumps.

I realised when I saw this appliance again today that it's actually an EC8 and not an EC6. Sorry for the mistake!

This joined its two sisters at the training school in April 2009. Buckingham's retained crew now have the former day-crewed Volvo OU03 VOM while the day crew got another Volvo, OE03 WXN from Amersham. I was quite sad to see it go as I'm rather fond of these ERFs and they have served the brigade well.
