I am looking for an engine exact as this, with rear mounted booster. I grew up in Amsterdam, NY and this was like our Engine 1, used front line until about 1979

Despite this photo converting from Colour Film; the TFD Pumper's Engine's paint colour is spot-on.

For years, Toronto's Fire Engines were painted a darker, and duller, shade of red; than the standard "Fire Engine Red".

Maybe, the City Fathers wanted to keep the equipment in line, with the city's [alleged by rest of Canada!] image of solid, dull, conservative respectability...

Great-looking Mack Truck.
