Neil, does this truck really have four Federal Q's or are two of them just props?

This is not a salsbury! mount horeb, wi uses a small regional builder for it's apparatus called custom fire out of osceola, wi. the chassis is a spartan. mount horeb fire dept's web site is: this unit is actual a pumper squad and carries 1000 us gal of water with a rear mounted pump.

This is a beautiful vehicle. This vehicle also has a huge waste of money on "extras". 4 federal q's??? Not sure about the cab but I hope it seats 10.

Added by Todd on 21 February 2009.
It was made by Custom Fire Apparatus. It has two Q2B's and the other two are only Q covers over electric siren speakers. The Fire Chief donated the "bells and whistles" seen on the front bumper. The cab holds EMS equipment and has room for a pt on a long board if needed.

Boy what a pile of sirens on this rig. There must be a lot of people in your area that cant hear or your chief has gone nuts.If that's the case, even the color has to be changed . Looks nice but to much over kill

And it has a Roto Ray and two Mars lights, not to mention the strobe light bar. Would you like that baby to be behind you on the road all lit up?

Added by Michael Feldman on 27 January 2011.
Hi Michael! I can see 4 Marslights! Ther is 2 with clear lensens on the bumper, and 1 on each side on the cabfront! And there are green flashers on the right side!

This truck has been retired from the Fire Department of Mount Horeb. It was then purchased by the Greenville Fire Company in Greene County, New York and serves as Squad 11-3.
