WAFB LaFrance Ladder

This WAFB LaFrance Ladder is owned by the Western Australia Fire Brigades Museum and was a Lend Lease appliance.$30,000 has been spent on the restoration of this ladder, including door decals.
This vehicle looks as if it has just been driven off the showroom floor and a credit to the restoration crew.

The first forward control American fire truck, and the forerunner of the ALF 700 series pumper, which set the design stage for five decades of American fire engine design on the part of almost every custom fire truck manufacturer.

A very rare example of a uniquely influential innovation, the more so because it was one of only a handful supplied RHD to Australia.
