Reserve Dennis Sabre at Worthing
Good to see a Dennis back on the run at Worthng, complete with station name plate. West Sussex Reserve Sabre HX53 WNW running as 51P3, the retained crewed pump returns to the station on Friday August 24th 2018, having turned out to a call in the Findon area with the full time crew of 51P1 (Scania WX15 GLY) which was having attention from a mechanic in the drill yard at the time. West Sussex still has 6 Dennis Sabres in the training fleet, 1 in the Reserve fleet, plus one Dennis Rapier (V741 FCR) and 2 Dennis Daggers in use by cadets. HX53 WNW started life at Crawley, moving to Arundel in January 2007 until May 23rd 2017 when it joined the Reserve fleet after being the last Dennis WTL in front line service.
