New Zealand Bedford - JD9051

One of a batch of 4wd appliances built for the New Zealand Fire Service on a Bedford Mk65 chassis, this 1978 Wormald built example started life in the South Island before ending up in the North. Now in private ownership, it was photographed in April 2016 but was due to be converted shortly afterwards into a campervan.

Unusual cab design. It looks as if the rear seat must have been reached by doors on the back of the cab...
