New Zealand ERF - FS5279
See images 30310 & 34910. Although twenty-three ERF appliances (including aerials) entered service in New Zealand, only four retained all aluminium rear bodywork such as this 1972 example that was new to Christchurch before ending its operational life with the Brightwater rural fire force near Nelson. It was part of the Fire Service Historical Society collection but has since been donated to the Ashburton Fire Museum and it is due to be restored. It was photographed in April 2016.
