I drove this machine to many fires, it handled beautiful even with the metal escape ladder on the back, I was present when they condemned the escape ladder, because the welds on the rungs and string had started to crack.

When this machine was delivered to Saltburn the rear cab seats were behind the driver and OIC seats. After a few complaints from the fire fighters who arrived at fires feeling very sick, the seats were modified so they were facing forward. Also if my memory serves me right it was involved in an accident while leaving Salturn on a call and it ended up on its side in a cabbage field.. Cause driver over cooked the corner and lost control injuring a couple of firefighters. Appliance was off the run and sent for a rebuild. It was a beautiful machine to drive.
