Volvo FM 400 Vema 553 TFL 55 metre (180 feet) aerial ladder platform, and Mercedes 4140 Bronto Skylift F68 HLA 68 metre (223 feet) aerial platform.
Both trucks are the top of the range in aerial fire fighting equipment.

Big and positive changes at the Pattaya Station!
I can remember the few old rusty engines, back in 1993!

Now these are a couple of really serious aerials! No one can claim that this is a Third World fire service.

I am not sure there is a fire station anywhere in north America or Europe which has anything to rival these beauties... Any suggestions?

Rob, I have a picture of something even BIGGER than these that was based at the Bangkok Marine Fire Brigade and Rescue Station! It'll make your eyes water!!
