This is a big, heavy, expensive and very powerful truck. It has a front-mounted remote control monitor, a sparge pipe, front high pressue hose connections, combined with four wheel drive, high ground clearance and a large tank.

These features make it a very useful unit for brush fires, as well as its primary role as a first response unit for structure fires.

As a result, trucks like this can potentially serve as a replacement for both a standard structure fire pumper and a dedicated brush unit. So it is very expensive, but still a lower cost alternative than buying two different vehicles.

Notice how the manufacturer made maximum use of the body's storage space by incorporating full height lockers and folding steps for easier access to the higher shelves.
