1936 Dennis/Morris/Magirus 100ft TL.

This was one of 3 1936 Dennis/Morris/Magirus 100ft Turntable Ladders put into service with the London Fire Brigade and was photographed on Saturday 13th August,2011 at the Redhill Steam Fair,Surrey still in preservation some 75 years since first going operational.
A rather traumatic LFB photograph featured in the book City Ablaze shows this old TL(BYV321)at Aldwych following a V1 rocket attack and really shows the devastation caused through war,the scene also shows the terrible task of personnel picking up bodies and parts following the devastating attack on the city.
BYV321(TL17)was allocated to Stn A1 Manchester Square and served until 1963,going out of service in 1965.Its war-time numbering was 36-A T-L-4.
BYV322(TL18)was allocated to Stn A10 Kensington and served until 1965,going out of service in 1967.
BYV323(TL19)was destroyed in an air raid during the blitz in 1940.
Its good to know that this one from the period in history we should'nt forget still survives today as a tribute to the many lost.

Pete it may be worth pointing out here that until 1965 LFB numbered their TLs 17TL, and thereafter became TLxx. I've just commented on your rear shot of this appliance with someone asking of the whereabouts of TL19, which is actually CBY1, that in the pre-65 fleet was briefly 53TL, then became TL19 in the same rationalisation exercise. Confused?! I know I am!!

Is it badged "Morris Magirus", like Darlington's 1938 27 meter ladder EHN 118 (Fleet number 4, not at all confusing!)
