Based on the Italian OM 6 to 9 tonne GVW panel van. This brand was first merged into FIAT and then became part of IVECO, which Magirus joined later.

A similar small "Magirus" was exhibited at the Amsterdam International Commercial Motor Show in 1976. It had a nine person cab, a 1200 LPM pump and an 800 liter tank. It was introduced to compete with DIN LF8 and similar specification light pumpers built by a variety of European firms on Mercedes 608 and 813 panel vans and chassis cabs.

It seems this was not a big seller. Asit was really only a rebadged OM, it did not share the rugged build quality and dependability which the "real" Magirus range of heavier vehicles were famous for.
