Seen at Winsford HQ this Welfare Support Unit operated by Cheshire F&RS based at Middlewich.
The front compartment has drinks making facilities, the rear contains two toilet units.
This move has become necessary due to recent Health & Safety regulations and the advent of female firefighters,

Any other photo views of this unit ? I am working on such a unit for my volunteer Fire Department. Also, information on Welfare units with other FBs.

Sean....Canteen vans dont usually have loos in the back.

Adey.....I understand that the Salvation Army are going to crew this vehicle, nothing has been settled as yet and it is not on the run as yet

God knows Adey that lightbar with amber/blues are used on the workshop fitters call out vehicles, they have 2tones also
noone has managed to exp;ain why I have never seen/heard them used
