In response to picture #21547 here is a photo of the appliance with its new body. I can remember speaking to the owner of the machine who said that he brought the appliance to do mobile pressure washing but the vehicle was unsuitable for his needs and was for sale. He also said that the appliance came from a training centre ( must have been moreton) and that they put a new body on it as the vehicle had done so little miles but the body was rotting away so they had a new body put on by saxon, then sold it within a year!

This Dodge was HCB Angus body work that's different to have Saxon rebuild it is that why the HCB badge has been removed.

Thanks for posting this Graham, I have a picture myself but you would have had to put it on for me!

Graham, I have a feeling this appliance sustained Heavy Accident Damage while on Drill/Exercise at Moreton-on-Marsh. It was an insurance write off, but the College did need the appliance to complete the appliance line-up for heavy training commitments, hence they provided the finances towards the repairs. I believe there was another appliance involved. I could be wrong about this, but something goes through my mind when I visited there. I think it would be very unlikely that it had rot during this period of its life. I could be wrong. BOB CARVER
