Blimey I never know one of these survived!
There were only three of these delivered in 1968 along with a much larger batch of Dennis F106's and SMH344F the prototype F109.
Where is this most rare appliance these days?

The Wheeled Escape does look most precariously mounted - due perhaps to the long overhang; and the 2nd Escape in back-ground.....rather neat, though, incorporating the rear Access Ladder, with the Discharge/Intake Hose Valves space.

I imagine the London FB Fire-Crews had some thoughts about this design.....thanks, Petros for another good Pic.

Apparently the visibilty wasn't that great from the drivers cab of these appliances but that didn't stop London ordering another batch of ERF's in 1974 through to 1977. The later ones had a more traditional style LFB bodywork very similar to the Dennis F108's and F109's which were around at the same time.

Was this body built by Jennings of Sandbach, which was bought by ERF when they decided to first enter the fire engine business in around 1967?

i drove one of these at G24 hendon before the green watch was formed hendons one had a locker next to the hose reel to carry RTA equipment also this appliance had air brakes with the compressor under the rear cabs seats and it was very noisy
