Don't know but there was talks in getting rid of this appliance or moving it to a diff station.

this appliance was transfered from folkestone after serving the town for 11 years.canterbury has the other one ,but maidstone's has been taken out of service.

Does anyone know - were any more of these low-profile Magirus ladder trucks bought by other UK fire services?

They were quite popular in some German fire services (although Berlin turned them down) and they were also exported in small numbers to other European countries, but I have not seen any other units which found their way to Britain.
