Looks like the Pump Operator is running a hose-line, to deliver his load of water.

Water is precious water, when you need it, no matter what the shape of the delivering unit - but, I do love the colourful Works department water-truck !

Yep, fortunately for the fire crews the hydrants pressure at our uni are all perfect. The works make their tanker colorful to attract consumer as before this their color scheme are too dull.

I can see how this decorative treatment would obviously encourage consumers want to drink more water!

If they are used to back up fire pumps at incidents, why not paint them red and equip them with traffic warning systems?

They do this in Kuwait City, which has many areas without water mains or hydrants. The tankers include tri-axle maximum GTW semi trailers which contain as much as 30, 000 liters!
