I am a Bedford man through and through, but since Bedford ceased trading, Dennis became my preferd brand and even though this was built when Bedford were still producing, i admit fully this is one amazing old Dennis ! and the white front end adds to making her more special.

This or an North Yorks Bedford TK / HCB Angus ? too close to call ....

Thanks Adam, a lovely machine and an escape to match, wont mention the colour though, it upsets the Cleveland lads!

An earlier Dennis (TDC620M) from Thornaby was around on the preservation scene during the late 1980's. However it has not been seen for many years now. The last I heard was that it donated its engine to another Dennis so it has probably gone now.

Hi Chris, perhaps I can increase your knowledge of TDC 620M a little. I saw it at Duxford in 1991 when it was owned by someone from Bexleyheath. It was pictured in the programme for the 1994 Solent Emergency Vehicle Show and owned then by a chap from Chelmsford. It was also in the programmes for Odiham in 1994 and 1997. It is last shown as taxed in 1997 but I don't know if your information about the engine is more recent than that.
