Why not just call it a rescue tender?

Bob, it's called one upmanship ie 1 brigade has a Rescue Pump so another brigade calls it an Enhanced Rescue Pump same thing with the CARPS look how different brigades name them so they sound that bit better than the rest !

It's a case of i drive a Rescue pump, i drive a Enhanced Rescue pump, same machine, one brigade says it's name sounds better simple case of one upmanship mate !

All Cheshires first away machines are designated Rescue Pumps...this unit is classed as a 'special' and is only ordered on when the circumstances dictate ie multiple entrapment, HGVs or PSVs involved etc. It is single crewed with a support pump turning out with it. The old Dennis had a Moffat Mounty fork lift truck on the deck at the back of the appliance but this has not been included on the replacement machine
