This machine served at Barmouth and then Aberdyfi. It was up for sale a year or so back .Does anyone know its whereabouts now please

EFF317D never served in Aberdyfi. Served all her career in Aberdyfi from 1966 until she was replaced by a Ford D0809/Carmichael WrT MEY809J in 1982 when Dolgellau recieved GCC334Y. CFF512C was Barmouth's Bedford J4/HCB-Angus WrT

In the FBS book on Gwynedd appliances there is a photo of EFF317F at a 2 bay station, certainly not Aberdyfi's I don't think it is Dolgellau and could well be Barmouth. Of course it could be on standby. I remember seeing a J4/5 HCB WrL at Barmouth c1969 I did not realise Sir Meirionedd had two of them.

That photo was taken in 1985 as a spare at Llandudno.

Andrew was she on the run at Aberdyfi as a WT or WrL? I was talking to the new owners yesterday, they are trying to get her back as origional as possible. I assume the lettering on the side was gold not the presant yellow. Do you have any idea of the stowage?
