Scania 93ML250 rescue pumper Canberra
Scania 93ML250 rescue pumper of the fire brigade of the Australian capital Canberra.
Between 1990 and 1997, ACT FB took delivery of 6 so called 'Mark 4' pumpers with Scania 93-series CrewCab and chassis. All 6 had bodywork by AFC, and a Darley 1.000 GPM pump. Of these 6, 3 were equipped as rescue pumpers.
Here a picture of the youngest of that 93-series: rego '207 106'. This photo was taken in November 2006.
All ACT fire trucks are painted in the grey-green and yellow colour of the flowers of the local 'Cootamundra wattle' (the 'Acacia Baileyana': a bushy shrub/small tree). That's making the Canberra fire trucks excellent visible within the city.
