West Sussex Fire & Rescue HRT backWest Sussex Fire & Rescue Heavy Rescue Tender
The West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service have just taken delivery of three new heavy rescue tenders in 2009.They are Scania P270-CP31/JDC/Hiab Hipro 099 crane heavy rescue tenders.These are to be allocated to Worthing(reg-HX58 KHR,Chichester(reg-HX58 KHT)and Crawley(reg-HX58 KHU).
This photo was taken at the brigade workshops on June 5th,2009 and actually shows the working end of Crawleys new HRT showing the Hiab Hipro 099 crane unit.Chichester's new HRT can also just be seen inside workshops now being fitted out before going on the run at Headquarters.
It is not known at this time when the new 2009 HRT's,the four new Scania/JDC WrL'S or the two new Man/JDC WrLs for Keymer and Crawley will go actually on the run.
