Buolding up a Fire engine Cruese

New not yet finished fire engine, Departement Cruese, France 24April2009.

This FPT would most likely have been completed with an eight man cab and a 3000 liter water tank, adding a either rear mounted 1000 or 2000 LPM pump - though each SDIS did vary their specifications a bit.

I have researched the license plate but have not been able to confirm the exact built yet.

The red tank looks like it may be an early poly build, with deep horizontal swages for extra rigidity.

Although white roofs were and still are popular, the white bumper and lower A pillars are a local feature - not a commonplace idea on this generation of French fire trucks...
