ALG-17. Fire ladder based on GAZ-51 chassis.
Manufactured in 1966, restored in 2009.

This machine was built the year i was born and it's in far better condition than me ! is it still operational or preserved? either way, great bit of kit !

John, through the time humans become older, but machines are becoming more valuable. :)
Now it is - a fully working museum exhibit.

John Stott, You ask me what does ladder in moment of shooting this picture?
The ladder is just raised up. On background is an interview with the chief of Fire (in that day is fire exercises were demonstrated)

Manufacturer of this ladder is Novotorzhskiy Zavod.
In 195x years they are try to copy Magirus ladders in own workshop
