Former Cleveland Dennis ET DAJ700T

A picture of the ex Cleveland ET DAJ700T. This rear view was taken on 14.02.09
You can just see it through the fence. I'll see if I can get a better one.
It's still reasonably complete, and on it's wheels. The moss growth is prolific though!

You will note to the far right there is another fire engine that has been in Montes for many years it is a Dennis F8 (MTY 313) with Alfred Miles bodywork formerly of Northumberland Fire Brigade I own one of the fleet of 10 Northumberland had LTY 352 (pic 2305)it is also for sale but the guys at Montes seem to think the registration is transferable (MTY - Monte) so the price is 'a bit steep'

It might also be worth mentioning that as they had ten of the the Dennis F8/Miles WrTs (as distinct from the conventional All Dennis F8 which was a P), Northumberland was the largest single customer, and only thirty were built in total. Since Durham also had three, and West Hartlepool had one, the North East (as a region) was only one machine short of having half of them !

Nothing a pressure washer won't shift... what's the latest on this, Chris?

This picture was taken on Valentines day this year. The ET is blocked in so it's unlikely to be moved quickly. How many people out there would be interested in setting up a group to save this? No one has come back to me on this yet.

This machine was in pretty much the same condition as of 19.09.09

Any word on price from the yard owner?

Not yet Pete, I'm going to try to ring him this weekend. Will keep you posted.
