Glastonbury Fire station Mercedes turning out
This picture was taken in February 2005 whilst an organised visit was taking place at the retained station in Glastonbury. Whilst there, a shout came in and the picture shows the Mercedes 1124 registration K803GYD turning out. Ironically the call was to Street Fire Station which is about two miles away and the station was filled with smoke. It turned out one of the charging units in the fire station had overheated and was the cause of the smoke. Luckily enough no damage was caused and the stop message was sent quite quickly to avoid any further embarassment.
