ex Sommerset Pump Escape Dennis F28

Dennis F28 Pump Escape Registration 353MYA. Delivered new to Somerset Fire Brigade in 1961 when it was issued as a Pump Escape to the two pump retained Station at Glastonbury. It was later converted to a Water Tender Ladder and having served all its life at Station B6 Glastonbury it was taken off the run in 1978. It then served as a Foam Tender with the works Fire Brigade at Hinkley Point Nuclear Power Station in Somerset alongside another Dennis F28. It then entered preservation and is in the process of being restored to its former glory by its present owner, who has re-equipped it with a wheeled escape.

Its really good to see this Dennis fully dressed again with her
wheeled escape back up on her back.
