Derelict Austin K4 ECU at Weedon

This is the remains of yet another K4 Escape carrying unit at Weedon its lost its rear bodywork and had an engine driven winch fitted I seem to recall being told it was used in some forestry work?

Cor blimey, they've even pinched the wheels off the escape. Proberly got through the blitz OK with only a scratch, and now look at her.

Is that the 60ft TL they're selling behind the Heavy Unit? Or is it one that someone will have half a chance of saving?

The TL is a Leyland TD7 'half cab' 100' TL - ex South Shields as far as I am aware it was available for disposal - the 60' TL has been sold I think

The green K4 is an Escape carrying unit with a Barton pump post war PE(Light). The TL behind is a 100ft wartime??
