Duisburg Liebherr Crane

This is the 1997 Liebherr LTM 1040/1 Crane from the Duisburg fire brigade. It's a 40 tons crane.

These seem to be the most common cranes in fire service fleets in Germany, and most have one or more.

Both 30 and heavier four axle 60 ton cranes are also in use, and - although Liebherr seem to be the most popular - there are also some Krupp and Faun units around...

Liebherrs are also exported in quite large numbers and used by fire services in many Northern and Central European countries.
