SCAM was founded in 1995 by the initiative of some businessmen and technical off-road specialists and focused itself on the development of vehicles with permanent 4x4 traction with smaller sizes and performances; ideal to work under extreme conditions.

In 2006, SCAM joined the group AMPLIFIN, an established holding company that operates internationally in various business sectors.

Thanks to its twenty years experience in the construction of light special tactical vehicles, the company in 2007 is chosen as the exclusive partner of IVECO (link to the website Daily 4x4) for the worldwide production of the new IVECO DAILY 4x4, declined in all versions developed for special applications.

SCAM retains its production line for special vehicles intended for foreign markets where climatic conditions require the use of engines type Euro3.

Currently, more than 1,000 vehicles operate in Italy, Europe and in military and peace missions in areas such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Ghana, Congo, Lebanon, constantly working in extreme conditions.
