Waltek Motor Trucks Inc. is a Canadian company specializing in the research, development, manufacturing, maintenance and servicing of civil and military aircraft rescue and fire fighting (ARFF) vehicles as well as special purpose off-road vehicles. The name Waltek comes from the combination of two words being "Walter Technology". Walter, one of the oldest names in automotive history, had its beginning in the late 1880's in New York City, where the founder, Mr. William Walter, began the manufacturing of the Walter automobile.
